Brabham
Brabham is a masterplanned suburb in the City of Swan, about 21 kilometres north-east of Perth’s CBD. The suburb is named after Sir Jack Brabham, the Australian motor racing legend who competed in the 1962 Australian Grand Prix, held at the nearby Caversham Airfield. That airfield was originally constructed by the US military during World War II as a bomber base, and after the war it was converted into a racing track that hosted the Australian Grand Prix in both 1957 and 1962, drawing crowds of tens of thousands of people. According to Wikipedia, development of the suburb commenced in 2011 with the Whiteman Edge estate, and Brabham has grown steadily since as a modern family community. The suburb borders Whiteman Park and Caversham Wildlife Park, two of Perth’s most popular recreational destinations. Honeycomb Park, with its BMX track, scooter trail, and play structures, is a local favourite for families within the suburb. As one of Perth’s newer residential areas, Brabham is home to homes that are now 10 to 15 years old. Builder-grade grout and silicone installed during construction are beginning to reach the age at which they start to fail. Shower leaks at this stage are common and, if caught early, can be repaired quickly and cost-effectively. The Grout Guy services Brabham and the northern suburbs, repairing leaking showers and regrouting without tile removal. Pricing is fixed upfront, and a complete shower regrout carries a 10-Year Waterproof Warranty. Call for an obligation-free quote in Brabham.
