Hammond Park
Hammond Park is a southern Perth suburb in the City of Cockburn, created as a formal suburb in March 2002 from what was previously part of Banjup. The suburb was named after James Hammond, a pioneer of the Jandakot district who settled in the area in 1887. From 2002 onward, Hammond Park transitioned rapidly from agricultural land into a growing residential suburb, with dwelling numbers rising steadily through the 2000s and 2010s as Cockburn’s southern corridor expanded. Thomsons Lake Nature Reserve, approximately 25 kilometres south of Perth’s CBD, is one of the area’s most significant natural landmarks and forms part of the internationally listed Ramsar wetland with Forrestdale Lake. Aubin Grove railway station provides transport access to the Mandurah line. Most Hammond Park homes are contemporary builds from the 2000s onward, but even newer bathrooms are not immune to grout staining and silicone failure in Perth’s hard water environment. The Grout Guy services Hammond Park with tile regrouting, leaking shower repair, silicone replacement, and tile and grout sealing. Fixed pricing. No tile removal. A 10-Year Waterproof Warranty on complete regrouts. Get in touch today for a Hammond Park quote.
