Padbury
Padbury is a suburb in the City of Joondalup, around 18 kilometres north of Perth’s CBD, named in 1971 after Walter Padbury, one of Western Australia’s most significant pastoral pioneers. Padbury arrived in the colony in 1830 and became one of the largest pastoralists in Western Australia, holding stations across the northwest and playing a central role in the development of the pearling and cattle industries. His name is preserved not only in the suburb but in Walter Padbury Boulevard. Whitfords railway station, on the boundary between Padbury and Kingsley, provides rail access to the Perth network via the Yanchep line. Whitford City Shopping Centre, which opened in 1978 and is one of Perth’s major regional shopping destinations, serves Padbury and the surrounding northern suburbs. McDonald’s Park, Gibson Park, and Brisbane Park provide green space and sporting facilities within the suburb. Most homes in Padbury were built through the 1970s and 1980s, and bathrooms from this period are well into the age range where grout staining, silicone breakdown, and slow shower leaks become routine maintenance issues. The Grout Guy services Padbury with tile regrouting, leaking shower repair, silicone replacement, and tile and grout sealing. Fixed pricing. No tile removal. A 10-Year Waterproof Warranty on full regrouts. Get in touch today for a Padbury quote.
