Treeby is a relatively new suburb in the City of Cockburn, created in 2016 from the northern portion of Banjup. It was named after Joseph and Emma Treeby, Cockburn pioneers who settled in the area in the 1890s and established a market garden of over 14 hectares growing cauliflower and cabbage.
